A friend has a 80 series MK IV Govt. 45 Auto in stainless, what are these selling for used? It looks like new...

Colts generally bring decent dollars, I've seen them for as low $550 on up to $1'800 depending on which model and condition. I have a Colt 80 series Combat Comander stainless slide and frame and I paid $820, at the gun shows this model ussally brings about $1'100.

If it could be bought for $500 it should be a good buy.
