The first photo of the mountain has the cool scenery.  The second photo of the bull elk has the cool subject.  The third photo of the kid/buck has cool scenery and a cool subject in a huge buck.  If that's a WA photo...that's my choice. 

My only issue would be the vertical composition.  However, I'd just be nitpicking...  :)

I very much like all three. lemondogs scenary photo is awesome, The elk photo is very nice! But the young man with the buck says October hunting in WA to me so that's my vote.

I had to go with the kid too! It reminds me of Oct and what we would all like to see! The other two are great too wish I didn't have to rule them out ... you Mods have a tough job every month!
