Iv never not seen an elk in this particular area of the manastash, especially on the opener.  not only did i not see any elk or deer, there hadn't been a fresh track for weeks, maybe since before the rain storm during the archery opener. very very unusual. then, found these in the road near the truck. measures nearly 4". only 1 set. i know its not a great pic, the sun was terrible. on a side note, i found the elk a few miles away. no spikes as usual...
