I've posted this on here before.  My neighbor shot and killed a full blown wolf at my back fence line a few years back.  Yes, we live in Thurston County.  It turned out that it had gotten out of it's enclosure along with one or two others.  One was shot by a farmer down the road and the one that made it to my place had developed a love for my neighbor's chickens to the tune of killing several of them.  The 150 pound wolf had a calf cornered where my neighbor's fence lines and mile meet.  It was getting ready to kill that calf when my (then late 70's) neighbor shot it with his .300 win mag.  He called me up and I took a good look at it before we brought out the back hoe and returned it ti the Earth where it belongs.  I turns out that there are at least a half dozen folks within 15 miles of us who raise full bred or cross bred wolves for pets or re-introduction into the wild.  We reported the wolf to the Sheriff and the local WDFW officers.  They all told us to shoot every one that we see and they have quite a few complaints and sightings of stray wolves in Thurston County.  I will kill every last one of them that I encounter without a second thought.

Wow just read through this post,crazy stuff.One question how the heck do these wolf huggers think it is ok to raise 98% wolf pets when we cant even have a terrier without the proper paper work (dangerous pet ordinances)?And since when has it ever been ok to release any pet into the wild?  :bash: I thought thats why we kept zoos open.  :twocents:
