Things went our way
« on: October 04, 2013, 11:22:37 AM »
My brother is disabled from an injury he received a dozen years ago while working heavy construction, this year he drew a disabled any bull permit in the Little Naches with 11 points. He has only 15% use of his left leg and his mobility is severely restricted so we knew we had an incredible challenge in finding a spot that held elk that was also accessable to him. I spent considerable time scouting the unit this summer and fall and we had a good hunt planned out with several different options. On the second day of the season things came together for us an he hung his tag on this nice young 6x6. It is his story to tell but here are a few pictures of the result.

Congratulations on a successful hunt as a result of lots of planning and sweat. Hope you got to enjoy more than a couple of days in that camp as it looks like a great place to just enjoy the surroundings.

Its awesome to see people are filling tags this year. It is also a testiment to the will of those hunters that love the outdoors so much that they won't let a severe injury or disability to keep them from doing what they love. Congratulations on an Awesome hunt.
