Yup. You need a guide to hunt Griz/ brown bears, mt goats, and sheep. Anything else guide not required if you have the tag.
Your bear guide will know the rules also.
After harvesting a bear, you need to take the hide and skinned out skull to F&G. They will put another tag on the bear and usually extract a tooth. Usually have to do this within 10 days.
A taxidermist will usually have to see that sealing tag to accept the hide.
Once it's sealed you can take the hide out of Alaska into any state. The taxidermist will remove the tags, and once it's tanned you no longer need it tagged.
