Quote
California sea lions can be killed if they are feasting on too much salmon at the Bonneville Dam on the Columbia River, according to a federal appeals court.

The Associated Press reported Wednesday that the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals announced last week that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Fisheries Service adequately explained in a report why killing up to 92 sea lions a year is needed to decrease the loss of endangered fish.

The United States Humane Society previously objected to the method of removing the California sea lions, which are protected by the Marine Mammal Protection Act. The court upheld the authority to kill the animals.

I see a new Discovery channel show on the horizon with Paul Watson and his band of idiots fighting to save the noble sea lions from the brutal slaughter.

Will provide own firearm and ammo!

They should do that in westport. I have had seals come up on the rock after flatfish and seabass.

If there is a tribal person that is willing I'll pick them up wherever and bring them back. Will supply gun and ammo and food for the day or days and you can blast away! :chuckle:
