Cougar kills coyote pic

Got this picture on my father's trail cam. I would say this cat killed the dog. Do you think this happens regularly?

Through the years while hound hunting we have found several coyote kills by cougar. When a cougar gets hungry he is going to eat what comes by.  :tup:

That's a cool pic.  I have seen where a cat has killed the female and pups here in Oregon.  Also the same cat killed multiple single coyotes throughout the summer.   Guess they don't like the competition!

Very cool pic. Like said when they are hungry they are at the top of the food chain. Plus they are competition. I know back in the old days when people ran dogs. I know a few guys would find a lot more dead and partially eaten yotes in the winter when looking for/running cougars.

Cool pic! Another member on here(daydreamer) was tracking a cougar in the snow and heard a coyote yelp. When he got to there the cat had killed the yote and was eating it. Unfortunately the cat was quicker than him and got away. Once again awesome pic! :tup:
If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
