Ever had one of those thoughts
« on: October 08, 2013, 06:58:52 PM »
I was leaving the house this morning and had my German Shepard with me. I looked through the gate and saw these deer looking in at us. I have heard that there is a buck running with them but did not see him. It crossed my mind that it would be pretty cool to leave my gate open and let the buck in and wait wait till hunting season opens this weekend. My dog was pretty animated seeing the deer and really wanted to go see them. I really don't think that I could harvest a deer in my own compond, but it just was a fleeting thought. It was a great way to start the morning though. It is a phone pic from inside the vehicle that I was driving. Kind of funny seeing deer here since the car count out front is 34,000 cars per day according to an old official count.
