I'm already there!! Well in my mind anyway...
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...

The Whiners suck!!

Going to try and hit the road about 8:30 Friday morning. Meet the others in Cle Elm at 10:00 for breakfast at The Cottage then we can all run together and chat on the radio. Passes the time on the road sending jabs at each other.   :chuckle:

Heading east from Monroe first thing Thursday morning with my 10yr old son for our first hunting trip together (my first 'solo' trip and first real hunting trip in WA since I was about 8yrs old).  Heading to some public land, hiking for at least half day to get well away from any roads and horse trails, setting up base camp, and then scouting things out until Saturday.  Coming home Sunday night no matter what...  Hopefully not with tag soup for dinner.

We will be heading out Thursday night after work.  Hoping to get a camp spot and some grouse on Friday.
If you are going to do it do right the first time.

Not leaving until Tuesday after opening weekend.  I decided years ago that opening weekend was just too crazy for my liking...
