Does Idaho really need another elk plan?

No kidding and now they are thinking about raising non resident prices 20%  :bash: Somehow they think this will fix their shortfall on tag sales the last few years you will get even more people not hunting there. If they lowered them you would get more guys buying them and since you can buy 2 tags guys would be more apt to buy a 2nd

Great article!......that just depresses me.  :'(

It's depressing because those obvious suggestions will never be implemented. Just like our schools, the Enviro-wackos have invaded many (or most) Fish & Game departments and supporting hunters and hunting is furthest from their agendas.

I've hunted Idaho for a number of years. I didn't this year for budget reasons. Good chance I won't ever again. I won't reward mismanagement and outright hostility towards us sportsmen (and sportswomen) with my dollars.

These idiots just suck the energy right out of me. I'm tired. They are winning. Probably already have won.  :puke:

Just wait because it is going to get a lot worse  :dunno: Raising prices to make up for less business is bad business  :bdid:

This breaks my heart, Idaho was my most favorite state in the land and this is the direction they are heading. I sure hope this isn't my last year hunting there as a nonresident, this disease of stupidity has spread from Wa to my favorite hunting grounds..... :bash: :bash: The best plan for Idaho would be to kill more predators (wolves mostly), keep or lower current prices for non res and raise the resident fee's 20%. I'm not a resident hater trust me, I have family there. But resident fee's are still very low compared to our state.
“In common with”..... not so much!!

:yeah: Just the 22 non resident tags in unit 18 brings in more revenue than the 203 resident tags
