One of the best areas to hunt in all of the state.  Locked up by mostly private so you do not hear much about the area but it produces hogs!

I don't yet. The property is hooked onto our existing property, so the same bucks we have on the rest of the farm just extends us out a little farther to the west.

i know the season is getting short but if you're wanting a quality hunt give Craig a call.  we hunted with him last year and he had all kinds of bucks on trail cams to get us excited but when the season came and we started shooting monster bucks we realized that the bucks we shot had probably come off adjoining properties....not to say that his property didn't have great bucks (which it did) but the bucks we shot were not the ones he had on trail cams....deer kept coming onto his property. i ended up shooting a masher 4 point white tale that is easily my biggest buck to date.  if anyone needs to contact me for a reference for his services please do so

Just my 2 cents, but it may help if you put updated trail cam pictures if a guy is going to pay that kind of money for a two day hunt. If I saw a photo within a day or so it would help sell it! Like I said, my :twocents:

I will vouch as a reference also. I have been hunting the same property before Craig took it over as a guide. 17 years now. Only two other guys have been hunting longer and Craig is one of them. I have run into
Craig a few times through the years. Nice guy! I can tell everybody that I have been on every part of this property and I have seen deer on every part. Yes there are certain areas where there might be more muleys or more whities, but there is deer on every corner of this property. But I will never give up my honey hole. I have taken a total of 9 deer off this property. All mounted. Yes, my biggest deer to date come off this property also. 150 inches. 4x5 Muley with eye guards. I will be over there this year for the late Muzzy whitetail season. My first time out there in the snow. It's gunna be fun. I just helped out with the Washington State Disabled hunt over there last Saturday. The disabled guys harvested 5 does. One gentleman shot his deer from a wheelchair at 170 yards. It was a humbling experience. Had fun and skinned a couple of deer for them.

No, you do not need to buy a muzzleloader! you can hunt with your bow if you buy a muzzle tag. Just remember you must only hunt those areas and dates. I can now hunt on my own area.

I too would be all over this, if I weren't traveling to New England this year to hunt for whitetails. My son just got his Hunter's Ed Cert. and is begging me to take him hunting for his first deer. Wish I had the cash... this would be no doubt a great way to introduce him.

I'll keep your guide service in mind in the future.

Went with Craig last weekend for only a one and half day hunt (not guided).  Took my 13 year old son to hunt.  We had a blast, saw lots of deer, both mulies and whitetail. With our short time hunting we didn't see any shooters within range, but I bet with more time we would of figured them out (my fault due to lack of time to hunt).

Craig is a stand up guy, I met a few of the guys he donated the doe hunts to, they were appreciative of what he did for them.

Planning to go back next year

I may be wrong, but don't youth hunters have the right to shoot a doe or a buck? If so, did you just decide not to go that route? I don't have the regs in front of me so I can't remember.

Yes, you are right. Whitetail doe for youth. My son wanted to wait for the last night to shoot one. We saw 2 right before dark, put the sneak on them, but there were 10 mule deer does between us and the legal does. We got within 400 yds and got pinned down by the mule deer, tried to work around them but it just got too dark. Fun hunt!!
