THE TRIPOD BURN!!!! MONSTER BUCKS!!!!
« on: October 07, 2013, 09:43:37 PM »
Since this area came up in conversation figured we should start a thread dedicated to the burn. We all know from last year that there are huge bucks growing in there since the burn. Maybe someone with experience can let us all know the in and outs of hunting the burn? I for one would love to get better educated on how to properly hunt the burn to better my dream of killing a monster buck!!! Thanks to all for your inputs!

May I suggest that you wear hunter orange  while hunting the TRIPOD BURN?
It's not necessarily for your own safety, it's more so that you will blend in with the crowd.

I believe the closer to the road the more trophy potential there is.

I hunted this year in early archery.  Although the area looked nice .It was very devoid of any fresh sign whatsever. Now that may change with a bit of weather........
