All the big bucks are in the Tripod and all the big bulls are in the Blues.   :chuckle:

Those are benchleg bucks that migrated across I-5 and all the way to Minot Peak.  I know for fact that my sister's boyfriend ate dinner at the Rusty Tractor and the bus boy said he saw that last buck in the back of a truck at the 76 gas station.  Everyone should head for Minot Peak home of the real monsters.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

I like to know where this TRIPOD BURN is located or is this a hoax? I really mean this now...never heard of such a place but those bucks are worth the try.

Do a search on here or go to Fishing and Hunting News site and search there. There is some real good info on technique how to get them and location of the big ones. Other than that the Big Bucks are in the Woods! Good luck!

Maybe you can see if the monster deer pictures have a geotag on them.  Get your GPS out and bingo, instant trophy! :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

The "BURN" must have been hunted out last year, I don't see the dozens of 180 inchers that it was supposed to produce. :dunno:

What everyone needs to realize is that the burn isn't a magical area that produces 10's of 180 class bucks, there are a few, like all over eastern Washington! Last year someone finally got lucky enough to shoot one. Since the article was published last year, the amount of new hunters coming to that area was ridiculous. All of them were asking My family who've been hunting there for 42 years where all of the monster bucks were. which I replied, in Swakane. Needless to say, i saw no new people shooting monsters. Monster mule deer don't just live in the tripod burn, they are all over eastern Washington, you just have to hunt your ass off and find them. It takes hard work and lots of time in the mountains.
