I wish I could say that my experience hunting with a disabled hunter was that nice.  Instead we were followed out of the hunting area for over 15 miles until we stopped and talked to the guy.  He was upset that my buddy, the disabled hunter, had shot a deer on property the we could hunt but was close enough we could drive down the field/farm road and pick it up.  It wasn't even near the property this guy owned and even after we showed him a copy of the disabled hunter law he said that the law was B.S.  Shortly there after we came upon two Spokane County Sheriff and stopped to talk to them.  Neither of the officers knew the law so we showed them the copy we had.  They both agreed that we were 100% legal thought one was looking for something to cause us grief.

We also had one guy come by us and cut us off on a dirt road and yell and cuss at us and we were not even hunting.  All the guns were in the back and no one had any orange on.

I understand the problems that landowners have with poacher and road hunters but I was utterly offended and if the sheriffs' would have taken the complaint I would have filed the hunter harassment claim.

I also feel that a lot of these landowners in this particular are continue to file damage complaints and get hunters dollars while not allowing anyone hunt and fix the problem.

Sorry to hijack-----just had to vent a little.
