NEW BOW OR RANCH WHITETAIL HUNT
« on: October 08, 2013, 04:26:50 AM »
So here is my dilemma do i do a private 2 day ranch hunt for whitetail ( i will keep the outfitters name hidden b/c of special pricing) or do i get the new bowtech carbon knight. they are about the same price?  Let me know your thoughts.

Ill say a bow..2 days is too short and if you dont get anything you will be thinking I shoulda got the bow :chuckle: unless you have a real shot at a monster buck there. Does and and small bucks are to easy to get

Two days is an awfully short time even in great country to close the deal with a bow, but on the other hand do you have a backup area to hunt-in if you purchase a new bow.

I would buy the bow. If you get a nice buck you will want it mounted and that is not cheap either, unless you have someone that will give you a great price or do it for free. Just my  :twocents:

Besides, its a two day hunt then its over. The bow will last a long time and you will get many of shots with it!

Hope your dog is ok.

I'd buy a bow, but not that one.

Tough choice there, but as was said the bow will last longer for you than the hunt. Get the bow and go to the Ranch next year.  :dunno:
