Damn being at home not in any of my hunting seasons.  Plus trying to save money to pay bills while I am off.  I am making my wife chocolate chip cookies.

I don't have to do anything for my wife during hunting season.  She is glad to get rid of my son and me :chuckle: :chuckle: she helps me pack

Same thing here that why on the time at home I do special things for her.  I am furloughed right now so home.  I hunt archery.  Already notched my deer tag and didn't get a bear tag this year.  All the honey do list is done.  So cookies today it is.

My wife really appreciates small things.  She's not enthusiastic about hunting or fishing but understands that I am and she likes venison enough to enjoy it.

If I'm going to be gone for a few days, I just do lots of little things for her and hide cards throughout the house for her to gradually find.

Her number one thing is quality time with me so I've had to modify some of my hunting adventures.  Not to appease her like she's a d@mn tyrant but to help her enjoy what I will never get over.  For instance, when she comes with me, we usually take the camper or our big tent and lots of stuff for her to fiddle with around camp.  If I'm by myself my camps are pretty Spartan.

I am making her chicken and waffles tonight, then taking her to a movie.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

damn i do everything from laundry to dishes the vaccuming, getting the coffee ready, sweep. clean the bathrooms oh and i cook every night, i get the wood for the winter and take care of are awesome 5 acres. she puts up with me buggn her for you know what everynight so i figure its the least i can do. she doesnt like it when i leave for my little huntn camp, except my daughter has normally stayed home with her so that was ok, but this year both are kids are huntn so it wont go over very well her being home alone, she has already made mention of coming to stay at the camp for the nights and headed home during the day why we hunt, except more than likely she will be at the mall  :chuckle:
