Depending on my mood, Winchester 670 30-06, Model 70 in 7mmRM, 270, Model 94 in 30-30.  06 wears Nikon 3x9, 270 wears Weaver 2-10, 7mm wears 6-24 mildot.  For elk/bear my main is tang safety 338WM shooting 225 SST's. with the 06 or the 7mm as backup.  My favorite deer rifle is my 270 but using the 30-30 this year to start.
The pic is the 270 wood, and my o6 camo.

This season I'm running a Savage parts gun in 358 Win. The backup for when I feel under gunned is the trusty Ruger Hawkeye Alaskan in 375 Ruger.

A few years later, thank you again for selling me the .243 barrel.  It really comes in handy at times

Glad that's still working for you! The 243 is a little to "main stream" for a gun hipster like me. :chuckle:

You guys with your silly 30 cal bb guns, mine is a 50 cal muzzleloader. Thats right, a 50 caliber. 1/2" dia lead slug. 180 grain bullet? Wimps, mine is a 350 grain hunk of lead coming your way. As far as powder goes, aint but a few of us willing to man up to 130 grains. This is all backed up by the shoulder of 200 lbs of twisted raw steel (me). :chuckle:

300 Win Mag Browning A-bolt Medallion. No messing around, seems to slow the Muley's pretty well. Use it on whitetails as well. Gave my model 700 bdl 7mm-08 to my son about 5 years ago, he uses it now. It too has stopped many deer in their tracks.
