Capture IR Pics
« on: November 27, 2008, 01:14:44 PM »
I normally let my cams soak for about two weeks minimum, but I had to check this one today since I was in the area hunting. I guess maybe I should have gone there first thing this morning. It has only been out since Sunday. They hung out for about 8 minutes. I think I need to move the cam farther up the tree.

Pretty nice...and early am too.

I just got a new Scout Guard 550 game camera and will put it to use this weekend.
also picked up a bolt-in welded steel housing, combined with cable and padlock to hopefully prevent losing another cam to thieves.

Yep! I love how easy it is to setup versus the excite. I have to take the owners manual with me every time i check the excite cause I can never remember how to use the stupid thing.

I hear ya on the more expensive models.  The only down side to the capture is that it doesn't tell you battery life and number of exposures.  Let's see some more pics!

I didn't get back out to check it today, so I will have to wait until next weekend. Here are the only two other pictures from the same set. I guess Elk like peanut butter too  ;)
