Wild dogs????

Down in the snake river breaks north side towards Colton I saw Sunday morning 2 dogs that looked like a cross between a black labs and German shepherds. No visible collars on the dogs. They wanted nothing to do with us and were traveling at a fast pace. We saw them an hour later in another canyon. I hesitated shooting because I didn't know if they were ranch/farms dogs? Or Feral? Has anyone else ever run across wild dogs? They were big!
