Why doesn't the WDFW have something like this in place?

Below is a link on the Michigan DNR's website, it shows where all wolf/dog conflicts have been reported in MI to the DNR in the last year and is intended to help bear and bird hunters know where they may run into them and kind of makes it cut and dry, take your bear hounds and bird dogs to areas near the red dots at your own risk. It also makes for a handy tool for those currently hunting them out there.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think the Michigan DNR and the NRC are handling the wolf issue maturely and realistically.

They do. It's not mapped out, but you can break it down by county, species, and year...

Thanks, I forgot about that. The map component would be more helpful however.

I know it sounds strange, but to me that's not as useful. Anyone can call in a "sighting," a dog on wolf encounter is different.
