Proud Dad!!! first year hunter
« on: October 14, 2013, 09:27:38 AM »
My 10 year old son Wyatt make a great shot on his first deer yesterday 140yards off the shooting sticks. I couldnt be more proud of him.. 1 1/2 mile pack out, He hauled out  the backstraps and head and I got the 4 quarters and scrap meat...

A hunt based only on trophies taken falls far short of what the ultimate goal should be, time to commune with your inner soul as you share the outdoors with the birds, the animals, and fish that live there”.- Fred bear

Very Very cool. My son got his first deer (Doe) on his first deer hunt this year as well and he is 11 years old, and I cant even explain how proud I was of him as well. Something you will remember forever!  Way to go Dad!
