On the second bear, may I ask why you took a shot when you'd already filled your tag with the first bear?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess 2nd bear tag...

Ahhh I wasn't even aware a 2nd bear tag was an option!  In both cases, congrats on two nice bears!

Nice job to both of you. I love Accubonds. I recovered mine from my bear and it looked exactly like yours. deadly.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

Congratulations to you guys. I've been struggling this year to find the bears, have only seen one and my hunting partner got him.

your not alone, last year I had 4 spotted in the 1st 4 days, this year my first sighting was mid september (if you don't count preseason scouting).  not a normal year for bears at all at least in the areas I hunt.
