So saturday for the opener I had a 40 yard shot at the big buck I have been watching for two months!!! I hit a branch in the dark of the morning light! Do I still go after this buck after he has been shot at?? Im certain I know the hole he is in and probably laying down hiding. Or just find a legal buck in another area? I really want a deer. But this buck is a wall hanger and its driving me nuts!!!Kurt

He is THAT good of a buck!! I will be alone, so no way I can cover all his escape routes.. Guess my question is more to the how would you hunt a buck that has been shot at and is spooked big time by now!PS no one else will go where he is, so I know he aint dead.. Its in a draw that runs all the way to hell. Approach from the top? Bottom? Its fairly open but thick in the bottom... Im thinking get in before sun up and sit on him all day!! Until he makes a fatal mistake
Go after him I shot at a 5 pt Saturday and found him right Back in there on Sunday and got him
