Enough said. Pretty sure the guy gets the point by now. No need to continue telling him.

:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

No offense taken. There's a ton of people that hunt here, that's nothing new.
That's a nice buck you got.

most people dont post pics with the location of where the animals were killed due to the fact that we have way to many hunters already and dont want even more in our areas. just food for thought.

Why not help others out.. who cares if you invite other hunters there... as long as they have proper ethics it shouldn't matter... people like you make some people afraid to ask for help.....

This is an internet hunting site by hunters for hunters in Washington State.  This site ceases to exist without people coming on here talking about what and where they hunt.  No one person posting a picture and unit where they shot an animal is really going to make a noticeable difference on a hunting unit.  It has almost gotten unbearable how every thread turns into some sort of pissing match.  Congrats on a great buck and thanks for posting.

Congrats on the buck! Don't worry about the people that are flaming you for posting the unit.

Klickitat County is a very well known county for deer hunting, it is not a big secret. I have seen it in almost every hunting magazine and in the internet/news.

Congrats again!

Great deer! Welcome to the best hunting site in Washington. Please forgive the rude, outlandish behavior of some!!!

Again thanks for sharing

Look heres the deal. If you lived here/owned property here and saw how many people come from the west side and do nothing more than drive roads, trespass, and get stupid drunk your opinion may be different. Yes we have been in magazines and all other means of media and none of us like that either. Also its not like a lot of other units that have tons of feel free to hunt ground, it mostly private. I do own ground over here and when asked if people can hunt almost all of them are from the west side. Notice almost everyone that said it wasn't a big deal wasn't a local. The facts is,  that whoever said the poaching/trespassing issue is a local one is not true at all. Most of the locals have private ground to hunt and know where the state pieces are. Am I saying that there is no local poaching, NO, but most of it is not. I don't think that one picture is going to entice thousands more hunters but its more un-needed attention in an already over hunted area.

The "gentlemen" that took God knows how many bucks out of season off our property is local. The neighbors who hang tree stands on their side of the fence but hunt ours are local. The people sneaking in mid week, the people spotlighting from the road, shooting deer in November and December...all local.

You might very well have a lot of west side people coming around sept-oct but to act like there aren't a bunch of local yahoos that feel like they can do anything they want is naive.

I'll take west side idiots over east side anytime. The no trespassing signs stop most of the west siders and they all go home after a few days.
what in the wild wild world of sports???

with our recent pm i respect your opinion but a non local saying what locals do here is your judgment on what you see for 2 maybe 3  weeks a year we are judging off what we see year round.

Lots of that crap goes on everywhere. Klickitat was featured in WA/OR game news last year, or the year before. No secret. Trying to keep the Klick a secret to deer hunters is like trying to keep the Blue Mountains a secret to elk hunters.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!
