Yep, killed by a gal from Chehalis.  It is a true giant, biggest bull I have seen killed on the west side of the mountains. Good call on not posting the pic, I have a couple  and have been told not to send or post.

Do any of the pics of this bull happen to be in the back of a maroon truck?

I heard the inside and outside spread were added.  Awful tough for a straight 6 to make 400+.

I heard the same as Phelps...  400+ on a straight 6x6 is huge!  Just not likely for a wet side bull.

It's a very nice bull, but it is not over 400".  I'm thinking 360-370".  Bigger than any bulls I've had on camera up in that area.

Don't know what the score is, I have heard the same things as you have and several differant numbers.  Wether it is 400 or 370 or whatever it measures up at it is a brute of a bull and I would give a big congrats to the hunter.

Yeah post the pics, just block out the hunter's face, the dead bull won't mind if he's on the internet.

Hey, I'm betting Phelps went to school in Pe Ell.  Only 1" off puts him in the top 99% in his class :chuckle:

398 straight 6X6 is amazing!  Maybe some day before I die  :dunno:  Buddy of mine worked with the Yakima's doing some elk research years ago near Adams.  He has been telling me to expect an unbelievable bruiser to come out of there.  I'm looking forward to seeing the pics.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

The one from 10-12 years ago was insane.  Tribal kill and B and C through it out for one reason or another.

Call it respect for the hunter, call it what you want. If the hunter has said that he/she doesn't want their pictures posted all over the internet, then I'd guess that's why they're not posted.
