Ideal truck would be the Chevy ride, Ford sized with a NEW cummins....with Toyota mileage..

i work for dodge. the new 6.7 cummins has some issues that need to be resolved before i buy one.
any of you guys with a 6.7 cummins that gets a check engine light and need it fixed...pm me. if you haven't yet, you will have a soot problem that causes the turbo to get plugged up...it's a huge repair. apparently the only way the problem won't happen is if the truck is getting worked hard all the time.

i really like chevy trucks...it's all i've ever owned. i like the dodge trucks, but because i am a big guy 6'4" 230, the driver seat bugs me...seems too narrow. can't beat the chev interiors or the ride quality, and the duramax/allison trans is bombproof.

bottom line is they are all good trucks...just depends on what you like.

Hope this works,  haven't posted a pic before.

Here is my powerjoke.  Not the greatest picture but then again,  not much of a joke either.

Thanks,   yep,  38" toyo MT's,best tire out there in my opinion.  had swampers and they will just knock your teeth loose and wear bad on a truck that big.  These tires almost make it feel like a factory ride on the hiway.  Now off road with that suspension is a different story.   Truthfully the Nissan hits the woods much more.
It's a late 99 F350 7.3 with 6 position chip, airraid intake, full Banks exhaust and the nicest pillar gauges I have ever seen.  The best part is I haven't even broke 100k on the odometer yet.  Just about though.

No kidding. Now I gotta go buy tires this weekend. Had some idiot on the phone at Discount tire tell me that the Toyo A/T's might be a 10-ply tire, so I should consider going with a 10-ply....

I have to go with two, Chevy 1/2 ton 5.3 for general purpose, great gas mileage and so comfortable. For hunting and all that the Tacoma has to get my vote, a lot of places I go a full size just wouldn't cut it, especially in the snow. I have 201,000 hard, hard miles on mine and not a problem, original water pump, alternator, clutch..everything and 22mpg average. she's a little scratched up but I'd never get rid of her. as for tires, my next set will be cooper sst's, it would've been toyo mt's but LUVHUNTIN has worn out his second set, they both lasted around 20,000miles.

my baby, '07 Silverado 1500, 6in lift, 35x13's, wouldn't trade it for the world, i love everything about it. had it for a little over a year now and she's ran like a gem the entire time, that's why i love chevy, they make a solid truck.
