There used to be a lot of deer in that area.  Not much going on anymore.

So he was further than 80 yards?   :chuckle:

I would not want to be anywhere near you if I was a legal deer.

Brutal this year only had one shooter on my game cams and one really nice young 2pt that was going to be nice next year, someone decided that big of a two point must have eyeguards and they were wrong.  That kind of stuff really hurts a herd that is already in trouble because the hairloss the past few years and now the wolves.  There are at least two that have been working the Wilson to Reecer area for the past year and a half.

That sucks. Im not hunting this unit again for deer. Elk is good for me but deer sucks. New area next year or out of state for me.

Heard rumors of couple more legal deer getting shot this weekend but for the most part everyone said hunting was no good this year with low deer numbers.

he was close to 80 the first time ( chip shot ). The second time he was about 40 but I had no good shooting lane.
