The blacktails are just so nocturnal when the weather is like this. They seem to lay tight during the day and hide. When it's nasty overnight or rainy they seem to do more feeding and movement in the daylight hours. That's my opinion anyways
This weather sucks! Blue skies and full moon at night. Seems like its like this every modern rifle season. I cant stand it. Hate this weather, at least for blacktails.
It seems to be a trend over the last 6-7 years, nicer and nicer for western Washington hunting seasons. This weather is accepted for hunting the east side. But not the west side especially during modern firearm deer season.

Let me rephrase.... it's more TYPICAL for the east side.
Just get up higher. I have spotted a lot of blacktail bucks bedded down in bushes or a small clumps of trees right in the middle of days like these. They will get up to take a leak every now and then giving you an even better chance to spot them. Could also try to get on top of a ridge and roll rocks into the thick spots.
