Judging by the way he crowns off at the top and his large body size would you say he has some Roosevelt genes in him? I'm told that most of the elk on the east side are Rocky Mountain or at least a crossbreed.

His body looks like a Holstein, just massive. Every once in a while you see an animal that is a physical specimen.

The first time I saw him on the hoof I was in shock...
I bet his live body weight was double the MT bull I killed earlier this year.

This bull may have similar genes and also looks like an old warrior.  I posted a few other pics of him in another trail cam thread.
