Wolf hunt last week
« on: October 18, 2013, 01:25:13 PM »
Got a couple wolfs off a kill last week.  Mine was a 60 pound male pup and my wifes was a 90 pound male.  Had to get hers out of a mine shaft....

You followed a wounded wolf into a mineshaft...

That's a whole 'nother level of crazy than I'm used to seeing on here.  Way to get it done, though

Nice!

Just a tip, it would have dragged out of the mine shaft a lot easier if you'd put the rope around it's neck. That way you are pulling with the hair grain and don't have the legs hanging up on stuff. If you're dragging animals, headfirst is always the way to go.

That was what I was thinking. Kudos to you two for going the extra mile however. Most folks would have let it stay down there and walked away.

Nice work.
