Team FISH4FUN scores again in 2013
« on: October 18, 2013, 03:08:12 PM »
We went 2 for 4 this year on Eastern Wa Mule Deer. I was able to get on a 4X4 that we scouted before the season. Found him again within 200 yards of where he was 2 weeks earlier. Not the biggest buck I have ever gotten but he was the first true 4X4 for me. I have shot every thing around a true 4 until now. Doe's, Spikes, 2 points, 3 points, 5 points, 1X2, 2X3, 3X4, 3X5, but the famous 4 point came after probably shooting over 50 deer of every combination I could think of. I think I will have to put him on the wall as a skull mount, hope the next 4X4 doesn't take this long   :chuckle:

My buddy that has hunted this area with me for several years toOk a nice 3X4 with big eye guards.  :tup:

Not going to be back to work for another week due to Diana's Dad passing yesterday. So, it will be after you guys get back from elk camp.

I am starting to sense a pattern....
    *  You lead off.
    *  Some nameless guy wanders aimlessly before striking out.
    *  C. bats clean up and scores.

When you return I'll have to tell you about the "Friendly" warning we got from a local farmer.....   All i can say was it sure felt good having the detailed map to know who owned what.     :chuckle:

Yeah you really need to know where the heck your at up there. We had the same guy come back and have a chat with us, I asked him if he was mister....... He laughed and said yep. Then I told him who owned all the land that was within sight, he was shocked. Then said he wished more hunters put the effort in like I had to know where the private and state lands were. I think we earned some respect from him. Plus, one of the guys in his truck knew me from my Sturgeon Guide business. You were right Dan, it was the guys brother of where you used to hunt.
