Michelle, why do you cut 2 1/2 inches off the core? I never have and dont really see the need, just curiouse.

Cool, thanks its gonna turn out great!  I didnt think the boiling was all that bad of a deal either?  but thats just me, i boiled it for about 4 hours while cutting bits off here and there in between, finally got most of the junk out and put it in the peroxide,  i will post pics when its done!

Geeeez 4 hours.  Shouldn't have taken that long, lol.  Maybe around 30 - 45 minutes.

Well i couldnt get all the little bugers off and i thought it would mostly boil off, but the skull is still in great shape, its soaking in the peroxide now!
