Do you think that he was looking for a girlfriend?  The bucks around here are starting.

First I saw 2 smaller deer take off and then a little later a doe that hang's around walked by and then the buck.  Yea, I think he was looking for his girlfriend.

Sweeeet!  That is the caliber of buck my daughter is holding out for her second buck.  Hopefully in about an hour or so.  Getting ready to head out for an evening hunt in the fog.

Good luck!  This is the first year I have ever thought about hunting deer and have an archery tag.  I would like to get a deer this year.
