Whidbey Buck
« on: October 19, 2013, 08:39:22 PM »
Me and a buddy have permission to hunt some private property on the island. I'm out of state till middle of December for some military "stuff". My buddy's brother (in his 50's I think) has never shot a deer so I told him to put him in my spot. This little 2x3 came walking strait at him. At about 20 yards he put his sights middle chest and decided to pull the trigger. Needless to say he got his first deer. 12 gauge slug leaves quite a hole at 20 yards but no wasted meat past the neck. He was pretty excited. It's good to see new hunters be successful. He's hooked.

Congrats to the hunter
