i already know the answer but.. quick answer needed
« on: October 21, 2013, 03:52:52 PM »
my wife should be home in about 20 min, and im home watching the kid. question is should i get dressed and ready to head out and try to bag a blacktail when she gets home . my spot is about an hour away. or should i wait until i have a day that i can spend more time out there?

Can't shoot one from the couch... plus, sometimes the best hunting is when they don't expect it.... i.e. afternoon when everyone is at home.

Jimbo: "That's right, Stanley. Animals are much easier to shoot in the morning."

quick update. made it out to my spot about an hour and a half before end of shooting light, i got set up and about 15 min later the fog rolled in, and boy did it come in. there were spots i couldent see 5-10 ft in front of me. still hoping for a couple more day that i can get out this season.

Since  I do not get off work until 5, I am SOL until late season. I work on JBLM but can not have my rifle in the vehicle while I am at work. To drive home and back is at least an hour and a half!

There has got to be someplace you can store it closer. Knock on some doors or something. good luck

yeah but my whole point to viva was to get out and hunt while he gets the chance.

The problem with JBLM is its just a pain to hunt unless you start in the a.m. With the calling in and other crap to go along with it.
