My son named his YLF  Oakley .

I registered my dog as Ireland's Dirty Water Treasure,
Call name Pearl.

I have always liked Baggins for a male.

We have had

My dad named one after his favorite president (probably only one he liked), and Harry Truman was a big catahoula, and a heck of a dog.. I named one after a TV character once- Festus..

I had a hunting buddy back in Spokane who names his female yellow lab Belle.  Always like that one.

First saw my English Setter in his litter on a July 4th. Named that dog "Boomer".
We had an Australian Shepherd who we named "Sydney" after the Australian city and because it sounded cool. Just got another Aussie pup and decided to name him "Wiley". Sorta reminds me of "Wiley Coyote".

My favorite dog of all time was my golden lab "Gunner". Guns for short.
I named my current boy "G" in remembrance, but I tell people it's short for gangster.

Best dog I've ever had was named Magnum. Big Chocolate lab that lived to hunt.

Always wanted to get a pair of labs and name one Harley and the other Davidson.

What I would really like is to do is get a  black lab and name him Obama. After hunting him hard all day I would return home and demand that he donate half his food to less fortunate dogs that lay around all day long.  and when he gets sick I would take him to the worst vet I can find that charges twice what a good vet charges :chuckle:
