hey guys,
twice this weekend i was stopped in my tracks by what smelled like super rank urine. this ever happen to you guys? is it a rut thing? marking their territory? i was in costal blacktail territory; at about about 1000' feet. yes, bear are in the area too. and cougar and bobcat (seen them on my trail cams).
i wouldn't take the time to post this if it was a mild/passing odor. this smell was heavy.
