Hunt Clubs North Puget Sound
« on: October 20, 2013, 01:07:24 PM »
Hey there,

Does anyone know of any good (and affordable) hunt clubs around North Puget Sound. The area would be anywhere from around South Mount Vernon up to the Canadian border. Any details would be great.

Thanks!

Define affordable. All the clubs I have looked in to have been way to rich for my blood. :twocents:

You might try doing some scouting, finding a property or two that meets your needs and contacting the land owner directly. You can find the landowner information through the county websites. Worst case is they tell you it is already leased and contact info for the club. Here is the link for Snohomish County.

I tried it this year and I found one I wanted, wrote a letter to the owner, and worked out a reasonable deal. It's the first time I've tried it, but it worked.

Good Luck!

I think their is an opening in Skagit County for one.  $3,000 per person per season.

Nate Johnson has some fields in Skagit county.  I think the club was about $5k/season though which is waaayyy more than I'd want to pay to shoot some ducks.  Good luck though!

This is for the old Banded Hunts group.  They are not guiding this year, only selling leases.  Probably more profitable that way.   :chuckle:  They started at $2,500 per person.

Nate Johnson was at $3k per gun, but limited locations, but better laid out and planted vs. the other one.

You will also see Nate Johnson's fields across from the snow goose refuge.
