(A popular "I saw a wolf!" area close to Yakima.)I hear it all the time from hunters down here (south cascades) that they have seen/heard wolves. This speaks to the fact many hunters have no clue what a wolf looks like, sounds like, or tracks are.I trust photos and even up north they are not as abundant as you people are infering. WDFW sets cameras and does aerial surveys often with no results for the season.....and yes I've hunted off of SR 153 and drove the North Cascade Highway numberous times. I prefer to hunt up the White River and Chiwawa river drainages with you "Mountain men" . Yeah, cause WDFW would surely let us know about all the pics or other information they have.

I believe in what I see with my own eyes, hear with my own ears...some need to get in and spend time in these areas so they can comment with a little more credible authority other then "WDFW" told me so..by the way, heard wolve 2 nights in a row back in early elk..camped a mile below Little Bald, your neck of the woods Cougartail..am probably mistaken, as the coyotes down there have been learning to mimic the howl of their larger cousins!
Poaching: "Taking game off another mans territory" . Yes there are more than one definition to a word.Get over yourself...

I'm guessing English wasn't the strong point of many on here. Do any of you even know the difference between figurative and literal speech?Back pedalling for what?
Kind of like you should learn the difference between a cougar track and a wolf track. And yes cougars have claws that they often use when walking on slippery substances. Here is a real wolf track.
No hurt feelings here. Your the one who can't read a post correctly and are guilty of your own accusations. Maybe you should enroll in another year at Tree Hugger U. Go away little boy or girl (whatever you are) your embarrasing yourself.
