Not to start a benchleg vs blacktail battle, I was going with the NW Big Game definition when I called him a Cascade Blacktail, because that's where he would fall in their books.

Calling him a benchleg would be fair as well but the deer where I hunt have mostly Blacktail features, this guy was just a whopper.  You would have to go many miles east from where I was hunting to find any mule deer.

Either way, I'm still stoked!!!!!
