Shorty Nags took two yesterday.  He’s going to run out of yotes to take on his land.  Might need to find a gut pile somewhere to hunt over.

Not even close to bone's pics but they are still coyotes.

The two are very obvious.  The third is of one going away from me on the skyline.  I will let you guys decide if that one counts.  It was really disappointing because it was an almost black coyote and was absolutely beautiful.

So after being around snow all day and talking about hunting on the way home I figured wth. After like 30 minutes this guy decided to have a stare down with me and well, he lost. Maybe next time.

Glad to see someone stacking up the doggies for the old team!  :chuckle: :chuckle:  I would have gone out today, but I had to wait around for the guy to come and hook up my new ISP.  At least it's warming up some!
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

Totally agree.....we saw six today.  Five on private land driving to and from our hunting area and one that quickly vanished in the sage and never to be seen again.  Surely our luck will turn for the better.  Still getting pics of the ones on private land.

If I'm not mistaken that is the Lapua? What does the other side of that yote look like?  :chuckle: :chuckle:
"One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted..If one were to present the sportsman with the death of the animal as a gift he would refuse it. What he is after is having to win it, to conquer the surly brute through his own effort and skill with all the extras that this carries with it: the immersion in the countryside, the healthfulness of the exercise, the distraction from his job."
