I talked my son down from a 412 yard shot at a bedded buck in favor of a well laid plan.  After 2 hours of work he dropped the deer at 35 yards.  Why take a hale mary when you can get a sure thing.  Plus the work was a heck of a lot of fun to make it happen

I would with my gun, the same one I've been hunting with and shooting since I was 15. (I'm now 49)
