Way to go Doug!!! Congrats to you!! You definately got one of them good old boys you were after. Just think he was probably in some nasty hole in the Sawtooths just hanging out a short time ago. Then he goes and walks his rear off  hoping to poke a little fun and wham here comes Doug with his string and stick and sticks him!! :chuckle: Job well done and you earned this one and losing a little weight along the way never hurts. This just puts you in shape for Idaho and Montana. Best of luck!!

That buck is a thug.  Look at the freaking nose on him.  Awesome.  I hope like crazy you can get an accurate reproduction of that nose and neck with the mount.

Here is the one I could have got today.  the fog lifted so I had to go take a peek.  No way in heck I could have got him with a bow.  I could close to about 400 was the closest.
