Yeah benchleg she did a jig once she heard I wasn't going to miss her birthday.   THat was some serious concern if I hadn't tagged yet.  Most likely I would have driven down for the day.  If I would have been on the mountain I wouldn;t have been able to think about hunting and if I was at her party, I would have been on the mountain.  :)
They are coming guys.  Camera never even made it in from the truck.  I have two 190 class bucks, both on opposite ends of the Valley that I am after this morning with the big lens.  I'd love to see them and share them with you.  I promise I'll get pics on here before I go to Idaho and Montana to stick my other two big ones, LOL    Guess what...its pouring rain and I can almost bet my mountain is fogged in.  How sweet it is to have it hanging.   I am so damn sore I almost couldn't wrangle up a coffee cup.  It wasn't too bad of a pack out SKY.  I had to shoot the biggest damn deer on the planet.  I packed him out in one trip.  Cut up he weighed about as much as a giant moose quarter. :)

Sweet Bone I am glad you got your Old Cogger of the mountain. Sure is warm and wet over here on the wet side today temp about 58 at 4 am. I am sure the snow level is way up there today. I would much rather be hiking in some cold, snowy weather than this warm wet stuff whereits so muggy you sweat to death under your rain slicker. Can't wait to see some pictures of the big Kahoonah!! :chuckle: Be safe out there.

Can I hunt bow during the rifle like I can in Washington or is it specific about that?

You are going to probably be disappointed in me.  Especially after I said I wouldn't shoot that 4.  Course I did add a disclaimer that I would with my bow if I could get in range. ;)

Bones, Congratulations! it has been a pleasure reading your daily log-ins.
"Long time observer, first time posting"... I have been checking in on this site over the last couple of years, always from afar. What has always captured my attention was the "Pic's" and "The Story". Usually I could get caught up on both in a monthly log-in. Over the last week and a half My co-workers and I have been have been checking your story every morning and before we leave, awaiting on pins and needles for the next picture and story to go with your day. Basically, I did not want it to go un-noticed.
THANK YOU, for your time and effort you have put in to this it hasn't gone un noticed.
