I got it at 7 1/8  I figured it would be bigger and that I was making a measurement error.  then I looked at his pic and it does look short.

Can't believe I missed your buck Bone.  Great looking buck. 

When you said you are using my technique for caping.  Are you talking about a Short "Y" Incision?  You can get an accurate measurment.  Let me know when you are ready to measure.  Sure saves a lot of sewing.
