My son is 5, and asked Santa for a "bow and arrow". He loves it!

Good stuff. Any issue with the arrow falling off the rest? My daughter wants one too. I don't want to drop $80 on one she'll use twice then forget about. I've been thinking about one of those but wasn't sure about the rest.

Yeah about every 5th shot he will drop an arrow off the rest. Its a Bear Scout bow...the bow isn't half bad for a kids compound, but the rest is real cheesy. Its a stick on, so when you either break it or lose it you need to get another one. Good for now though.

Good for you!! A suggestion for you...3 fingers under the nock and bring the arrow up closer to his eye so he can use the point as a point of aim... He has great form!

take a look at the martin childs bow it has a shoot through riser so it's hard to have the arrow drop off. It's only for real small kids though.
If you teach a kid archery you will be rewarded with a lifetime of smiles!
