Elk hunting stories= FREE GEAR
« on: October 25, 2013, 10:34:02 AM »
Based on the 2013 Elk Meatpole, it looks like many Forum members had another great elk season - congrats! Extreme Elk Magazine is looking for stories from successful elk hunts for the 2014 issues. Keep in mind it isn't always the biggest bulls that make it into our magazine...it's the ones that tell an extraordinary story that we can all relate to. From driving long distances, to hunting the remote backcountry, to shooting your first bull....every hunt has an extreme (extraordinary) story.

If you have quality photos and an exciting story, we'd love to take a look! We've once again lined up some awesome story sponsors to reward published authors with free gear - Vortex Optics, Sitka Gear, Trophy Taker, Heads Up Decoy, Bugling Bull Game Calls, Zamberlan Boots, S&S Archery, Caribou Gear, Spot Hogg, and more!

You can shoot an email to: dirk@elk101.com or  corey@elk101.com for submission details, or to send us your story. If you don't want to write a story, but want to see your picture in a future issue, send those as well.

Many thanks! Dirk Durham Elk101.com - Extreme Elk Magazine

When is the deadline?
Maturity is when you have the power to destroy someone who did you wrong but instead you breathe, walk away, and let life take care of them.

Duckmen1,
We are gearing up for 2014, so its not a "today" kind of rush. That being said, "the sooner the better" that way perhaps some of the aches and pains from elk season are still fresh in your mind which makes for good story writing :)
