Hope you get him.  I found a dandy rub line myself today.  I have to wait until Nov. 27 to shoot it though

Awfully low for a bull elk, a little too fresh for an elk I imagine.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I love Seeing fresh sign around home like that, may not have seen a buck in the area all summer but other than trail cams the rubs are a sweet confirmation that love is in the air.

Definitely not an elk rub, and not necessarily a monster bt. Solid bt rub though.

Here's the biggest blacktail rub Ive ever found.  It was at work a few years ago, thus the hard hat in the photo.

No, but that wasn't the only big rub in the area!

I have a LOT of pics of posts that bucks have rubbed over the years.  Just recently started getting pics and videos of bucks working them over.

Out on a family hike and checked out some repeat rubs and we were lucky to get a glimpse of the big branched blacktail that created them. The kids and wife saw him walk slowly across the road @ 30yrds as I took pics of the rubs for you guy. I just caught site of him as he entered the woods. Family was excited and we just started the hike. Now you know why I took them here!

Went up to an area I was in last year. Seen three rubs, kinda got me excited for late season. It was snowing like crazy so the women, kids, and I headed back to the vehicle and got back down the mountain. I will be headed back soon, hope to see more rubs.

Thats the plan. I had the Wife, boys and our new Springer with us last time. Snowing like crazy, so we left to get back to the vehicle and back down to rain. Didn't want to get stuck in the snow!
