a succesful hunt!
« on: October 25, 2013, 02:08:23 PM »
my best friend took me and my fiance over around dayton. long story short we all got out bucks he has private property and i found a farmer who let me and my fiance hunt. everyone over there said were lucky as hell because he does not let anyone but family hunt. i asked him why he let me and my girl hunt his land he simply replied i gotta get to heaven some how.  :) so needless to say i insisted on paying him but he would not let me, so i bought him a half gallon of captain morgan and a card thanking him, he called me and thanked me and said be sure to call me this summer.  :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: but back to the deer my beast friend "marty" has been hunting for about 30 years and had THE worst luck out of anyone i know only getting spikes and does. missed his fair share. he finally broke his curse with a nice four point muley. me and my girl "cali" shot two nice little four points with huge bodies! missed a couple monsters but it was more about getting her out and her first buck she got a doe with muzzle loader last year. ok enough rambling im no good at this stuff!

Was it Wilbur who let you hunt? Nice going, great bucks.
